These terms govern web development services provided by DatenWerk IT SIA. Specific projects are bound by a separate written engagement letter that prevails in case of conflict.
1. Scope
Each engagement is defined by a written proposal listing deliverables, timeline, and price. Anything outside that scope is treated as a change request and quoted separately before work begins.
2. Pricing & payment
- Fixed-price packages are billed 50% upfront, 50% at launch.
- Custom engagements may follow milestone-based billing.
- Invoices are issued in EUR with EU VAT applied as required.
3. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included in design and build phases. Additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rate.
4. Ownership
Upon final payment, the client receives full ownership of the deliverables, source code, and design files. We retain the right to showcase the project as part of our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
5. Third-party services
Subscriptions and licences to third-party services (hosting, CMS, analytics) are paid by the client unless explicitly bundled.
6. Support
Post-launch support is included as specified per package (30–60 days). Beyond that, ongoing support is available under a separate retainer.
7. Liability
Our liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Riga, Latvia.
